This event is part of Monaco Art Week, under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Olga Sinclair is an artist born in Panama who began her career under the tutelage of her father, the master Alfredo Sinclair Ballestero. She is one of the great representatives of contemporary art, a pioneer of expressionist painting in Panama and committed to the promotion of art from childhood, which she develops through the Olga Sinclair Foundation.

During her long career, Olga Sinclair, who has lived on three continents, has received numerous awards, tributes and national and international recognition for her artistic and social work. She is a member of various national foundations and councils that support Panamanian society and the environment. Since 2014, she has been a cultural ambassador for the government of the Republic of Panama. She was recently awarded the Ibero- American Prize for Arts and Literature by the Carlos III Foundation in Madrid and the honorary doctorate from the University of the Caribbean in Panama.

She was honoured at the first Forbes Forum of Powerful Women in Panama with the 2016 Forbes Magazine Award for her artistic career, as well as her work in promoting arts and culture inside and outside the country. Her works have travelled to several continents, including Asia, America and Europe, in more than 200 group exhibitions and 50 solo exhibitions, including her retrospective at the Palazzo de Medici Ricardi (Florence), the Royal National Gallery (Amann), Casa de America (Madrid), MuVIM (Valencia) and, most recently, her solo exhibition Cor e Esperança at the Casa de América Latina in Lisbon, Portugal.
