Movie Matinée: Roman Holiday - Rome
ASMALLWORLD invites members and guests to join Ambassador Claudia Pellicano, at Cinema Troisi for a screening of one of William Wyler’s most celebrated movies. Roman Holiday is a 1953 American romantic comedy starring Audrey Hepburn as a princess out to see Rome on her own and Gregory Peck as a reporter.
The film was shot at the Cinecittà studios and on location around Rome during the Hollywood on the Tiber era. It was screened at the 14th Venice Film Festival within the official programme. More information about the movie can be found below.
About the Venue:
Over the past few years, Fondazione Piccolo America restored Cinema Troisi making it one of the coolest landmarks in Rome. It hosts various events and meetings with national and international guests, proving how powerful Seventh Art still is in bringing people together.
The ticket price of €3 needs to be paid on-site for the film in VO with subtitles (contact our Ambassador if you want to purchase tickets in advance).
