Book a Table at Michelin Star L’Impertinent
With one Michelin star to its name, L’Impertinent on Rue d’Alsace, is a creative restaurant known for its sassy, rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere. The culinary helm is manned by Fabian Feldman, an innovative chef who trained at one of the world’s finest restaurants, Pierre Gagnaire in Paris.
Feldman loves to push the boundaries of cuisine, offering pioneering tasting menus which focus on seasonal ingredients and elegant wine pairings. The restaurant’s fresh produce is procured from Ciboure fish market in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, 20 minutes away, and vegetables and meats are from local suppliers’ farms.
Plates are beautifully presented akin to a work of art, never overdone, and bursting with delicious flavours. Highlights of the tasting menu include Feldman’s ‘fish of the day’ with cabbage, Meyer lemon and black sesame or try the scorsoner, Jerusalem artichoke, oyster mushrooms and white miso followed by mouth-watering desserts and petit fours.
